How to reach HAFL
If possible, travel by public transport. There are only a limited number of parking spaces available for visitors.
HAFL is easily reachable by train. Every 15 minutes, the S8 suburban train to Jegenstorf departs from the RBS sub-station in Bern main train station. Get out at the Oberzollikofen stop, go down the steps, then turn left into the underpass under the train tracks and follow the «BFH-HAFL» signs (approx.10 minutes on foot).
During rush hours only, you can take public transport right up to the HAFL main entrance: take the RBS bus number 41 (Breitenrain–Zollikofen) and get out at the ‘Rütti Hochschule’ stop.
Travellers from western Switzerland should take the Bern-Neufeld motorway exit. Those coming from the Bernese Oberland should leave the motorway at Bern-Wankdorf. From Bern, you will reach HAFL within ten minutes via Worblaufen–Zollikofen or Wankdorf–Ittigen–Zollikofen. If you are travelling on the Zurich–Basel A1, take the motorway exit at Schönbühl and travel via Moosseedorf to Zollikofen.
